US says TSA absences rose slightly to 10.2% Wednesday 20-Mar 03:27

Overall absences among ​Transportation Security Administration ‌airport security officers rose to 10.2% ​on Wednesday, ​up slightly as ⁠a partial government ​shutdown continues, ​the government said on Thursday.

The absenteeism rate ​was much ​higher at some major ‌airports ⁠on Wednesday including 25% at New York's JFK ​and ​San ⁠Juan, Puerto Rico, 38% ​at Atlanta ​and ⁠at Houston Bush, the Homeland ⁠Security ​Department said.
